Flow Process Chart

This document provides guidelines for completing a flow process chart that maps out the sequence of activities in a process. The flow process chart lists activities, identifies their type as operations, transport, or inspection, and classifies each as value-adding, non-value adding, or essential non-value adding. The completed chart can then be analyzed to calculate totals for each activity classification and metrics like lead time.
