Job Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the operational processes as regards to
program function within PHRI in the Global Fund HIV grant called investing against HIV and TB in
Nigeria. Key business processes support includes:
External- ART facilities, other stakeholders, Organized Private Sector, National Office team, State
officers and Vendors.
Location: Lagos
Prime Health Response Initiative Formerly known as Hygeia Foundation is implementing Global
Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, (GFATM) Project under the New Funding Model
implementation in 5 states as Sub-recipient (SR) under the Family Health International (FHI360)
who is the Principal Recipient (PR) for HIV/AIDS component of the Global Fund.
PHRI is charged with the responsibility to provide Treatment Adherence, Care and Support
services to clients in all Global Fund supported facilities in 5 States which are; Osun, Ondo,
Niger, Ekiti and Kwara states.
Job Description:
• Assist in the design of all program related activities; the program unit coordinates the
implementation of the grants and projects; He or she will develop system for monitoring and
control of program activities.
• Ensure the development of departmental and zonal budgets and work plans, monitors and
disseminate budgetary and work plan challenges as at when due.
• Assist the Program unit to monitor the progress of the budgets and work plans. Create new
templates to monitor achievements.
• Assist all the thematic units to collate and complete write up researches and publications,
compiles project statistics and data for analysis. Creates and assist in the development and
administration of survey instruments for documentation and presentation.
• Support to seek for funding opportunities and write proposals when needed especially
basic desk research and document formatting for grants.
• Assist in writing narrative reports for grant records. Creates monitors and maintains program files
for audit purposes; prepares and monitors memorandum of understandings and works with the
Senior Program Officer to resolve concerns and issues.
• Has part supervisory oversight to the program assistant to ensure error free and prompt
administrative requests and retirements.
• Provide network or linkages between Program Officers and the PHRI’s Headquarters to assist or
follow up with their requisitions and ensuring reconciliation on cash requisition are in place and
documents are correct.
• Maintaining a mailing list, tracking all schedules and meetings especially for the projects.
• Ensuring that all meetings held are properly recorded and minutes are sent out on time.
• To assist in producing, maintaining and updating corporate literature for the foundation, ensure
the website is well maintained, updated.
• Any other assignment the supervisor deems fit.
• You may be required to travel when and if necessary.
Qualification
• Any BSc. Degree, MBBS, not limited to social science or public health degrees and experiences
