1. Find the radius when the diameter is

a) 32cm

Radius = half of diameter = Diameter ÷ 2 = 32cm ÷ 2 = 16cm

b) 48cm

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2 = 48cm ÷ 2 = 24cm

c) 56cm

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2 = 56cm ÷ 2 = 28cm

d) 92mm

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2 = 92mm ÷ 2 = 46mm

e) 16m

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2 = 16m ÷ 2 = 8m

small number.
(c) In a library there were 8280 books. Out of these, 1324 books were destroyed by rats.
How many books are there in the library now?
(d) From 8325m long wire, 2333m were cut. Find the length of the remaining wire.
(e) Shop A has 5675 tea packets. Shop B has 789 tea packets. How many packets are
less in shop B than shop A?
