    - all models are labeled correctly and arranged in sequence

    3. Sets of chromosomes - used 4 different colors of yarn to represent 4 sets of chromosomes 8
    4. Prophase 1 -chromosomes duplicating 4
    -paired chromatids with centromeres
    5. metaphase 1 - homologous pairs of chromosomes line up across the center 4
    -each chromosome is connected to a spindle at its centromere
    6. anaphase 1 - homologous pairs of chromosomes separate and are moved apart 4
    -spindle connected to each chromosome getting shorter
    7. telephase 1 - chromosomes gather at opposite ends of the cell 4
    - cell divides; cytokinesis
    8. Prophase 2 -two haploid daughter cells; each daughter cell has half the number of 4 x 2 =8
