Mechanics
Each Faction must have at least 6 players (boys and girls) on the floor at any one time - 3 in the
front row and 3 in the back row in each side of the court.
Player may not hit the ball twice in succession. (A block is not considered a hit.)
Matches are made up of sets, 3-set matches are 2 sets to 25 points and a third set to 15. Each
set must be won by two points.
The winner is the first team to win 2 sets.
Scrabble
Four participants (one in every Faction) were going to play this game
The object is to score more points than the other players.
Basketball
Every Faction must have at least five players inside the court to play.
The objective of the game is to put the ball in the opposing team’s basket.
The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
The game consists of four periods of 10 minutes for men and 5 minutes for women.
If the scores are tied, overtime periods of five/three minutes will be played until one team has
more points than the other.
Table Tennis
There will be Three representative per Faction (one for singles category and two (one male and
one female) for the mixed doubles category).
A set is when one of the players or pairs first score 11 points. In the event that both
players/pairs score 10 points, a set is be won by the first player/pair to gain a 2-point lead.
Badminton
Three representatives for every Faction (one for singles category and two for doubles category).
A match consists of the best of 3 games of 21 points.
The side winning a rally adds a point to its score.
At 20 all, the side which gains a 2 point lead first, wins that game.
At 29 all, the side scoring the 30th point, wins that game.
Chess
2 representatives for every Faction (one male and one female).
Word Factory
1 representative per Faction (male or female).
Use the shaker to mix up the letter cubes. Allow the cubes to fall into place in the letter tray.
Players can take turns shaking the letters on each round.
When the timer begins, all players write down the words found on a sheet of paper. Words can
be made in any direction: up, down, left, right and diagonal.
Players cannot use the same letter more than once in a word. Any word that is found in a
Standard English dictionary is allowed.
When time is up, calculate the points. Three-letter words are worth one point, four-letter words
are worth two points, five-letter words are worth three points and so on.
Words with eight or more letters are worth six points.
The person or team with the most points wins.
Games of the Generals
1 player for every Faction (male or female).
The objective of the game is to eliminate or capture the Flag of your opponent. You may also
win by successfully maneuvering your own Flag to the opposite end of the board.
Any player makes the first move. Players move alternately.
A player is allowed to move only one piece at a time.
A move consists of pushing a piece to an adjacent square forward, backward or sideward.
A diagonal move or a move of more than one square is illegal.
