E110

Kirchhoff's Law is the subject of Experiment No. 110. The experiment aims to measure how current flows in a circuit and how voltage differs around loops. The first law states that the current flowing into a node equals the current flowing out. The second law states that the total voltage around any closed loop must equal zero. The group used Kirchhoff's laws to find the current and voltage through resistors and distinguish calculated values from observed ones. They built the circuit and followed instructions, with potential sources of error including battery resistance and incorrect readings. Overall, the group performed well, using Kirchhoff's laws to find values in the circuit and differentiate calculated and observed amounts.

Introduction
Kirchhoff Law is the subject of Experiment No. 110. This measures how the current flows
across the circuit and how voltage differs in a circuit around the loop. The 1st of the Kirchhoff
states that the current flowing into a node must be the same as that flowing from the node.
And in the 2nd law, the amount of all voltage must be equal to zero around any closed loop.
In this experiment, the group was asked to use Kirchhoff's law to know the current and the
voltage through resistors and to distinguish the values that we have from the values that are
observed.

Results and Discussion

The group first did the setup required for the experiment to be performed. And the group
followed the instructions that is stated in the lab manual as they tried different setup where
they can do the given instruction in the lab manual. The problem with this or the thing that
gives the percent error would be the resistance inside of the batteries. And if the group was
wrong in reading the current or voltage that we are measuring.

Conclusion
Overall the group performed the experiment well as they have found the current and the
voltage that is in the circuit with the use of the Kirchhoff’s Law and the differentiate the
values that we got with the ones that is observed.
