STUDENT ESSAY FORM (StEF)
Effective Date:
Each Filipino is born with the same set of values. This section of the curriculum aims to instill
these principles in us and, hopefully, motivate us to practice in our daily lives. When lived from the heart,
these principles may serve as a vehicle and reinforcement for our objective of achieving social change and
advancement. It can give us a different perspective on how values can demonstrate by the stories that
affect our Filipino citizens.
It can exemplify the decision that we make as Filipino citizens. Every person must continually
learn that they have gifts that can be shared when the opportunity comes. Every person must always
respect each other despite their different talent and use them to help each other. It can also exemplify the
decision we might become so engrossed in which, by doing so, we lose sight of why we are here doing it.
We are so preoccupied with living that we lose sight of the reason for existing. We get so caught up in
seeking what money can buy that we lose sight of what money cannot purchase. Also, giving the rights of
others in which, they provide the freedom, each individual may differ in worldly size. Yet, each one carries
the same amount of dignity as the next, and they all have one similar destiny and how we can protect our
environment to make them last.
Overall, the different sets of values can make us make better decisions by using the values
learned and applying them not just as a student but also as Filipino citizen. Understanding the different
values can benefit the country in which it can bring all together, making the country a better place.
