Itinerary
Introduction
Experience some of the best highlights of Europe, including a Dutch countryside tour, cruise the
Rhine Valley, local guided walking tour of Prague, walking tour of Bratislava, driving tour of
Budapest, walking tour of Vienna, walking tour of Ljubljana, experience Venice, Florence and
Pisa, take a scenic drive through the Swiss Alps and explore Paris
Welcome to the Europe Jewel tour from Expat Explore! Leaving London behind us, we make our
way to Amsterdam, crossing the channel on the way and driving through rural France and
Belgium. Arriving in Amsterdam in the late afternoon, we’ll check in to our hotel before joining a
complimentary Amsterdam canal cruise! Get on board and have those cameras at the ready –
this is the best way to be introduced to Amsterdam, a city of beautiful 17th Century architecture,
and a charm all its own. Watch the city drift past as you sail by, and listen out for tips and
interesting insights into the city from your tour leader.
Day 4: Prague
This morning a local guide will take you on a walking tour of the city, introducing you to the most
popular and well-known sights, including the Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, St. Vitus
Cathedral and Charles Bridge. You then have the rest of the day free to explore the city.
Described by some as the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of Central Europe, you’ll find that Prague is just
as beautiful as Rome, London and Amsterdam. Start off with the Charles Bridge, which joins the
old and the new town, and marvel at how Prague’s dramatic history is reflected in the beauty of
its churches, opera houses, concert halls and of course Prague castle.
t’s our last day already! Today we leave the mainland and cross the Channel on our way back to
London. Be sure to swap details with your fellow travellers – we hope you’ve loved every minute
of your Europe Jewel adventure!

It was amazing experience in overall even though the whole tour
was quite fast paced. We managed to cover a lot of places as
promised on itinerary. A bit disappointed with Jungfraujoch which is
supposed to be the highlight of the tour but the weather was not
great up there. Although this is beyond the control of the company,
it would be great if they can offer us refund or even some discount
in the event like this before we get up to the top. The coach is very
comfortable and our driver Paul did a good job to drive us around
safely. One big thing to improve is they should include wifi in the
coach so we can use during the long journey.

If coach has Wi-Fi, it is better. 14 days goes to so many places, it is
very tight. I will choose stay more days in one country next time.

Not enough time in Amsterdam, spent too much time at hotel which
was located far from the city, for river cruise. By the time cruise was
complete it was dark and coach was headed back leaving only the
night to explore on our own. Windmill photo stop was a joke, could
not touch it as it was someone’s residence. Definitely not a row of
colourful row of windmills. Beware of false and misleading itinerary
as museums are closed on mondays which means no visit to the
David in Florence. This is an inexcusable scheduling flaw. Early
morning breakfasts combined with very late evening dinners and
gas station lunch stops wreak havoc on your body. Be prepared to
use the bathroom and find a bite to eat within 15-20 minutes. Not
allowed to use bathroom on couch , emergencies only. Free time
was based on scheduling not on the amount of time needed to
explore. Travelling on the bus was boring, no commentary was
provided enroute and tour leader encouraged travellers to sleep.
Commentary only provided as you approached attraction on
itinerary. Some optional excursions were clearly upsold over others.
Beware that optional is not on an individual basis and a minimum
must be met to go. The most disappointing part was jungfrau. The
mountain was clearly encased with a huge snow cloud but we were
not offered our money back although it was clear st the station that
they were still selling tickets . A 175 euro trip to see ice caves could
have been avoided. Also , we were not informed about the effec...

Everything about the tour was awesome! Maybe just the
Montecatini hotel needs to change. Elevators are too small and the
staff is a little unhappy.

this trip, the hotels will be located in the city centre or well connected by public transport.
Unfortunately, Expat Explore does not release the exact list of hotels that will be used on

You will travel on an air-conditioned bus with reclining seats, TV for showing DVDs, and
toilet. There is room for up to 50 passengers on the bus.
You can join and leave the trip anywhere if the city/destination is on the itinerary, however,
unfortunately, this will not change the price of the trip as Expat Explore is selling their trips
as a package.
Accommodation is on a twin-share basis, so one traveller in your group can either upgrade
