In the first one write home and in the second one write school. Then ask students to come on the board and write in each of them places that are found there. Try to write as many as possible. If they have difficulties give them some examples or ask them to look at the keywords box on page 7.

After that ask students to describe their favorite place at school and at home and explain why is it their favorite place. Encourage students to ask their peers questions about their favorite places. Then ask students to read the sentences 1-5 on Ex. 2 page 7. Ask them to guess without reading the dialogue whether these statements are true or false. Read the dialogue with them and play the recording and ask students to check how many statements did they guess right or wrong.
