    Abstract;
    Basically, it is a recovery plant that is used to concentarate WNA( weak nitric acid) into strong acid
    of 99.9%.this is also used to concentare H2SO4 from waste acid.this plant contain three portion
    that are;

     SAC 01
     SAC 02
     NAC
    Here SAC 1 product is used in HE(High explosives).SAC 2 product is used in propalant.
    NAC& SAC are both works at a time then we use 90% H2SO4 is used to fill the tank.but
    when just SAC is working then 72% H2SO4 ia given as a feed.

     50% WNA(weak nitric acid)

    Overall process in the plant:


    as we know that it is recovery plant.1st of all the plant tanks are filled with 90% H2SO4
    then run out process. When NAC&SAC1 both run at a time then we use 90% sulpheric acid
    a tank.

    NAC& SAC (Nitric acid concentration &Sulpheric acid):


    We fill nitric acid mixing tank with 90% sulpheric acid at 1300C from SAC and WNA at
    200C.then it send to NAC column where low pressure steam is applied from top 50% nitric
    SAC
    acid goes to NAC condenser 1&2 where colling water and chiiled water is used to cool our
    media alternatively and nitric acid becomes 998.03% concentrated and waste nitric acid
    send to ABS system.the nitric acid send to bleaching column at 750Cwhere it send to
    bleaching heater.then send to column that contain three main part
     NAC bleaching column

     NAC cooler 2
    Where instrumental air is given to feedalso child and cooling water is given to that
    column.it becomes 99.9% concentarated then H2SO4 becomes 70% concentrated so it send
    to SAC evaporater where flash evaporation is done at 1100C and it becomes 72% then
    goes to SAC condenser and waste sulpheric acid is send to ABS buffer tank at 400C.In 2nd
    high pressure steam is used as heating mediumwhere hot sulpheric acid at 1600Cis
    concentrated about 85%.and then send to 3rd stage where heat transfer oil is used as a
    heating medium in hot furnance and it becomes 90% concentrated.

    ABS System
    Absorption is a recovery system .its is used to recover 96% sulpheric acid from 70%
    sulpheric acid as a waste from GC,NG at 2300C.
