    Dear Ms. Ellamil:

    Greetings in the name of The Almighty God!

    I am interested to be a student assistant at one of Saint Louis University’s offices. As


    a second-year Bachelor of Arts in Communication major in the School of Teacher
    Education and Liberal Arts (STELA), I have developed strong communication skills
    and proudly completed my freshman year with a GWA of 90.2, which qualified me for
    dean’s list during the two semesters. Coupled with my passion for writing, I also have
    sharp analytical abilities and well-developed leadership skills as one of the editors of
    STELLARIS, the official publication of STELA. In addition to my academic background,
    I possess real life experience that would be of use to become a student assistant.

    Being an intern at the SLU-MRH has been a training ground for me because not only
    am I exposed to all sorts of people the Louisian community but I also became an
    officer last academic year. With my boarding location in the SLU dorms just beside
    the school, I can easily respond to whatever tasks that may arise in the school and
    can work during extended hours if it would ever be necessary. That will not be a
    burden for me.

    I have learned to challenge myself to work good under pressure even if academics
    are loaded. This is not new to me anymore because I also became a student assistant
    at our school library during senior high. Moreover, I can assist and efficiently attend
    to a high volume of student concerns by prioritizing what needs to be done at the
    soonest time but still maintaining professionalism and a good quality of work.
