Michael Mastroianni,
Executive Director, Global Supply Chain,
Bristol-Myers Squibb, Greater New York Area.

Dear Michael,
I was truly excited when I saw the “Global Supply Chain Co-op” position on website of
Bristol-Myers Squibb. Your requirement for Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma,
Project Management tools and knowledge of Global Manufacturing and Operations really
matches my personality, and that is the reason that Bristol-Myers Squibb is a great fit for
me. My deep interest in supply chain and operation research makes me passionate about
working in supply chain department of one of the global leaders like your company.

Currently, I am pursuing Master’s degree in Industrial engineering focused on supply chain

management, Logistics and Scheduling, Operations Research and Project management. Also,
I am certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from KPMG. Work experience as a Project Engineer
at S R Engineers gave me a really good learning about handling different things at a same
time maintaining decent efficiency level. Working as an intern at Star Engineers, I learnt to
handle supply chain and assembly of a manufacturing company. Also, I worked on different
tools such as Minitab, MS-Project, MATLAB etc. to achieve different projects on data
management, project management and network analysis as I have mentioned in my resume
during my coursework at Northeastern University.

After reviewing my resume, I am hoping to get your call for personal interview. You can
contact me by email me on dave.kar@husky.neu.edu or call me on 857-334-5186. Thank
you for providing your time.

Sincerely,

Kartikey Dave
