FLUSHING SPECIFICATIONS
1. FLUSHING
1.1 General On behalf of the flushing procedure the pipes and hoses are coupled to a circulair
system and cleaned by pumping through and filtering the flushing fluid.
In principle, the flushing fluid will be used afterwards as the first fill of the system.
Contractor must have a separate flushing gear available, appropriate for the job.
It is not allowed to use the pumps of the new hydraulic system for flushing without
previous permission form Doedijns BV.
A. Before starting the flushing, Doedijns BV. provides a flushing plan for approval.
In this document supplier indicates clearly the composition of the flushing circuit,
as
Well as the diameter and length of the pipe lines.
The parameters of the flushing unit must also be mentioned in the plan.
C. The flushing speed applies to all assembled components of the string to be flushed.
D. The temperatur of the fluid must be higher than 50°C but not higher than 65°C.
E. Before the actual flushing start the cleanliness of the oil in the tank must meet the
level of target.
F. Flushing filters must be provided with reliable σ P indicators and by-pass valves.
The filterrating must meet the specified contamination level.
G. Flushing should take place with intervals i.e. after each hour a 5 minute stop.
I. The flushing can be stopped if, after the minimum flushing time, the specified
contamination level is achieved.
K. The flushing fluid should contain not more than 2% of water and may not be
polluted by chemical agents.

1.4.4. Cleanlines:
- Screw the cover with the three way valve on the house
- In case the sampling point has not been used for a long time, flush circa 0,5 L.
fluid in order to clean it.
- Let flow 200 ml. Fluid through the circulation into the sampling bottle.
- Turn the three way valve into the sampling stand and let flow exactly 100 ml. fluid
through the filter cartridge.
- Turn the three way valve in the flushing stand again (after 100 ml.) and disconnect
the
Sampling equipment before the bottle flows over.
- Take the cartridge out of the house and close it with the clean caps, without
emptying
