I want to thank you and congratulate you for downloading the book,
“Network Marketing Recruiting for Facebook: How to Find People to Talk to
& What to Say When You Do”.
This book contains proven steps and strategies on how to find more people to
connect with all through Facebook.
In this book, I'm going to show you exactly step by step how I find new
people every day and exactly how I approach them when sending out my first
message. These are strategies that took me months of struggling on Facebook

Chapter 1: Why Facebook over other Social Media Sites?
Facebook is the largest Social Media site on the internet. It's what I
personally use to build my Network Marketing business, and what I teach my
team to use.
If you've been in Network Marketing for a while, I'm sure you've heard "It's
not what works, it's what duplicates" in some form or another; and Facebook
is the most duplicable way to build your business online using the strategies
outlined below.
Here are some statistics to really show you the power of Facebook:
There are over 1.35 Billion Facebook profiles worldwide
There are 1.12 Billion active mobile users worldwide
864 Million people log in daily
5 new Facebook profiles are created every second
50% of 18-24 year olds log into Facebook when they WAKE UP! (It's
the first thing they're doing!!)
Average time spent on Facebook is 20 minutes
If you were to reach out to just 20 people per day, it would take you
67.5 Million days to reach everyone that's on Facebook RIGHT NOW!
That's not even counting the 5 new profiles that are created every
second!
Do you see why Facebook is so powerful to building your Network
Marketing business?
If you follow the strategies I outline in the coming chapters, you can start
connecting with new people as soon as you finish reading this book!
If done properly, you could even recruit your first person tonight!
Chapter 2: Setting up your Profile for Success
In this chapter, I want to outline how to set up your Facebook profile for
success. A lot of people tend to miss this step and it can really hinder your
performance when trying to connect with and recruit people through
Facebook.
Nobody CARES About Your Company, So Learn To Brand YOU,
Inc
When recruiting online, you need to ensure you are branding yourself and not
your company.
The hard truth is that NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR COMPANY!
People only care about themselves and they don't want to hear about YOUR
company until they can find out what YOU can do for them!
This means not putting your company logo in your profile picture or cover
photo. You DON'T work for your company. You're name isn't "John WUN
Seymour" or "Susan Seacret".
It means YOU are the focus of your profile and NOT your company!
Profile Picture
That actually is my current profile picture!
Have some fun with it, you don't need to be super professional in your profile
picture. I actually know some people who NEVER accept people that look
too professional in their profile pic. It makes some people just feel "off"
about the person in some way or another.
It's important to make sure that YOU are the focus of the picture and NOT
your company logo.
Be personal with it.
I like to think the picture I chose with my girlfriend shows a more human side
of me and that's why I get a lot more response when I'm connecting with
other people on Facebook.
Be personal, give a good first impression!
Can be a picture of you with your significant other
Don't use a group photo, this is about you!
SMILE!
Cover Photo
This is where you can be a little more creative. Unlike your profile pic which
is seen first on Facebook, people don't see your cover photo until AFTER
they check out your profile.
That pic right up there is the one that I used to use for my profile picture! Too
professional in my opinion!
So now it's in my cover photo... along with my name and my logo.
I allow my profile pic to show me more personally and my cover photo to
show me in a more professional light. But you may not have a logo to put in
your cover.
That's okay!
Here's some examples of things that go great for a cover photo:
Group Photo with your team. (Downline and/or upline)
A picture of you with a big time network marketer
A lifestyle photo, you on the beach or out having fun. Something that
other people would want to be doing
You at an event (No Logos)
Make sure it's attractive
Fill Out Your Profile
In this section, I'm going to cover my top two ways to finding and connecting
with more people on Facebook.
I recommend connecting with a MINIMUM of 20 new people per day.
You're allowed a maximum of 5000 friends on Facebook; so if you follow
my methods, it will take you approximately 250 days to connect with 5000
people.
Keep in mind that not everyone will respond back so you need to be
consistent with this day in and day out to achieve success.
Strategy #1: Using Facebook Groups
When I first started out in Network Marketing through Facebook, this was the
first strategy I learned. It allowed me to connect with a lot more people and to
find struggling Network Marketers.
Keep in mind some of the people you will find will be of low quality, but
that's something that will happen no matter where you're prospecting.
Step One: Join Network Marketing Groups
The first thing you need to do is start joining Facebook groups. More
specifically, groups targeted to the Work from Home business niche.
To join groups, you'll need to use the search bar at the top of the page as
shown in the picture above.
These are the keywords I target when searching for groups to join:
Network Marketing
MLM
Work From Home
Work From Home Moms
Home Business
When searching, a pop-down will appear. Click on the section that says "Find
all groups named "Keyword"
This will bring you to a page with a bunch of groups with the keyword you
chose in them.
Next, click "Join" on about 20 of the groups per hour. (When using this
strategy, ensure you are joining ONLY 20 groups per hour or you could get
banned from Facebook)
Do this once every hour or two and you'll be able to start connecting with a
ton more people quickly!
Step Two: Start Connecting With People
Now that you've joined a bunch of groups, you can now go back in and start
connecting with people in the group.
The best way to do this is by searching for the newest members.
Usually the newest members are new to the industry and need help building
their businesses online.
Once you're inside the group, click on the "Members" tab at the top of the
page.
On the tab that says "All Members", click it and a drop-down will appear.
Click on "Member by Join Date"
Now that you're looking at the newest members, you can start connecting
with them and start building some relationships!
Usually the people inside these groups are more open to talking, because
they're already in the industry and know building relationships are essential to
success in this industry.
You can now choose about 10-20 people to connect with in the group.
To message them, go to their profile and click on the "Message" tab.
Ensure you also click that "Follow" button! They'll get a notification you
started following them and want to connect back with you!
One last thing before we move onto the next method, make sure you're NOT
adding them as a friend before messaging them!
You want people to add you as a friend. This is the message I send out to
people when first connecting. (Don't Copy & Paste, change up your message)
"Hey (NAME)
I found you through a Network Marketing group and loved what your putting
out into the world!
I thought it'd be awesome to connect with you and hopefully collaborate on
some business ideas.
Is it cool if I send you a friend request (You can send one if you'd like)
Talk soon!"
From this page, you'll be able to see what your Language is set to.
In this section, I wanted to quickly go over my daily action guide so you can
start building your business quickly.
1. Connect with MINIMUM 20 People per day
2. Build up relationships with those 20
3. Learn their struggles & show them how I can help them
4. Send them my presentation if they say yes to looking at it
5. Like & comment on other peoples statuses
6. Post 3-5 times per day to profile
I'll be honest, I don't always follow these steps religiously, but I always
follow the first 4 steps every single day. It's more important to connect and
build relationships.
You should make sure you're posting on your profile every day so people see
that you're a real human being!
