Dear Honorable:

Greetings of peace and prosperity!

I, Gemma Betito am writing this letter to apply my son Christian Jay B. Ramos for an
educational assistance grant. Presently, he is a Grade 10 student in Legazpi City Science High
School and residing at Cajugotan, Bacacay, Albay.

My family is currently dealing with financial difficulties since I am a single parent and a pizza
attendant. Being the only earning member of the family, my income alone cannot suffice our
everyday living. We are a family of four including my eldest daughter, my two sons and yours
truly. My eldest daughter have a family of her own and is not capable of helping our family in
terms of financial matters and my other son is a Grade 11 student.

Christian have always been a top student and also an active participant in extra–curricular
activities. He was also given multiple awards since primary school and now in his secondary
level. Attached herewith are the grades to verify his diligence in his studies.
