    PTCL is the most leading company in Broadband services in Pakistan and now it is also

    leading in wireless broadband service….It is the tradition of PTCL not to provide quality
    services to its customers that’s why people always find ways to hack or get its services in a
    better way as its complaint management system is very poor. They do not listen to their
    customer’s complaints.

    Today, the most common issue with the EVO/Nitro and cloud users is the speed issue. They
    do not get the speed they are paying for.Actually Ptcl has only one or two towers in a city
    serving the EVO/Nitro customers.And a single tower is not enough to cover the whole city
    that’s why people do not get desired results.

    Now a days an EVO customer gets an average speed of 1-1.50 Mbps while he pays for 3.0
    Mbps.Why this happens?Let me explain wireless internet depends on various factors which
    i have explained in my other post.

    Howto increase ptcl Evo signals and speed

    Today we will learn how to get Good signals and good speed too.

    I have tried various methods to make its signal more powerful.Here i will discuss only
    successful tries.

    Method 1:

    Use an antenna with your EVO/NITRO/Cloud.This antenna is easily available at PTCL ONE
    STOP SHOPS or PTCL authorized shops.you can buy this antenna in Rs.500/- only.

    This antenna can give you a good reception.

    But keep the following things in mind while using this antenna.

    Install this antenna at a higher distance approx. 60 feet from ground.

    Keep the length of the wire (attached with antenna)as shorter as possible as it will save
    the signal loss caused by cable.

    Do not use the antenna in thunder storms as it can damage your EVO or other electrical
    devices or cause serious injury to you.

    Method 2:
    Use you EVO/Nitro in open areas like near the doors,windows or at your roof if possible.

    As i said that PTCL do not have enough towers to give you good coverage.

    Use an USB extension cable to use your EVO in open area or at roof.

    Method 3:

    Use a 3G router as it will give enough power to EVO to get more signals.

    Using a 3G router has a couple of advantages,

    You can use your device in open areas like at roof.

    Your can share your EVO internet with other people via LAN Cables

    You can get you wifi internet from your EVO.

    I recommend some of the cheapest 3G routers

    Tp-link TL-MR-3420

    Tp-link TL-MR-3220

    Tp-link TL-MR-3020

    Tp-link TL-MR-3040

    Method 4:

    Take a naked copper wire of 10 cm length and twist it around the EVO as it will help you to
    fetch signals. It will also help you if you have no antenna port in your device.

    Method 5:

    Use a reflective plate at the back of your device and use it in the direction of your Exchange.

    Hope these methods will work for you as they did for me to Increase Ptcl evo signals and
