About SuperControl
Our vision is to deliver the best self-catering holidays by nurturing the best self-caterers in the
world, developing a new standard. We provide intelligent and user-friendly software that connects
people where it matters. But we don’t stop there; we work with our clients long-term, helping them
to excel tactically and operationally, to innovate and thrive.
We realise the full potential of all individuals in our team and provide a dynamic, progressive and
inspiring working environment which fosters a real sense of purpose, technical agility and
exceptional service to our clients.
Based in Castle Douglas in Dumfries and Galloway, we have more than 1,700 clients worldwide
accounting for 30,000+ rental properties. Our system is responsible for hundreds of millions of GBP
bookings each year. But note that we are on a mission to be the best, not the biggest.

Job purpose

Your key focus areas will be marketing and operations. Your expert analysis and reporting will help release
the untapped potential of our comprehensive database of booking data, reinforcing SuperControl’s position
as trusted advisor to the holiday rental industry.
You will analyse internal data including sales, market research, support and internal process metrics to
continuously improve our operational effectiveness.
We have access to a comprehensive database containing detailed booking, guest and property data. We also
have full authorisation from our clients to use this data anonymously for providing industry analysis.

In our sector there is a lack of readily accessible market data. There is great demand from our clients, and
the wider industry, for access to data of this type for business planning, benchmarking and research. Even
government agencies, such as the national tourist boards, have access to limited data.

There is a clear opportunity to provide clients and the wider industry reports and analysis of this data. The
data analysis will be used to support a range of activities:

• To provide informed content to our marketing team.

• Content for presentations and conference opportunities.
• Evidence value of SuperControl to client businesses.
• To inform development roadmap decisions based on data.
• Provide data to trade associations, academic studies and other third parties.
• Working with developers to embed key metrics and reports in client accounts.
• Potentially provide reporting commercially to clients and third parties.
