1. Good morning everyone, first let me introduce myself. I’m Quynh Mai –
Hannah at Funix, who will support you during the time you study this
course. today I’m going to talk to you about how to study Mobile
programming course online. My presentation has 11 main sections, you
can see on screen. Please send a message at the discussion if you have
any questions. Let me start by giving you the way to study at Funix.

 I think all students here have loged in and saw overview learning website.
At funix, all video and the document are summarized/săm mơ rai/ from a
big resource/ ri sọc/ as, youtube, android developer, it’s call MOOC
(massive/ matsive/ open online course), MOOC aimed at unlimited
participation and open access via web. Next, we have a slogan “ better
ask than learn”. This learning method is the difference between Funix and
traditional school. here, students actively monitor the lectures video
available on learning manegement system and ask mentors about the
problem which you don’t know in that lesson. Making questions is one
important skill a students have to attend the final exam. I will explain
later.
 Third, Our mentors are working in the filed of information technology and
mobile programming so they have practical experience in this courses.
Fourth, with self studying at funix, you are the center, by which you
proactively learn at suitable time, proactively practice and proactively ask
mentor. Students will decide the study progress and the ending time of
the course. for Example, if student complete/ complit/ all the conditions
at the fouth week , you can take the final exam and finish the course
early. Funix Hannah and mentors will support youu when you have
difficulties or question regarding technical and learning issues. Finally,
Hannah- it’me who is supporter for you, you can massage me when you
have any course issue, I will guide you to solve.
1st. Course preparation: To study, student need to prepare facebook
account, skype account so that you ask for mentors and take the final
examination. When student open the mail from traning department, you
see your own account and password are in bold- yellow character , it’s
account and pass of gmail and learning website you use during the time
join studying at funix. You use laptop or computer to learn and take the
exam, no head mobile, tablet. Beside, you need to install some of the
following software, Findthe course preparation of Course section on LMS .
2nd. The specified timeline: from july 20 to august 24: student take partin
studying and completing all the course conditions . from 24- 31 : you
register final examination form and take the final exam. As I said
students decide to your the end time course if you study fast and
complete conditions early, you maybe finish soon.
3rd. I would like to give you conditions of completion of the course. Firrsly,
you have to give 8 question for mentors ( it accounted for 15 percent of
total point), secondly, 100% completion of total quiz columns (it 20%),
04 passed projects and final exam, you note final exam point not less
than 4 and the overall not less than 5.
4th. This picture of learning management system you can will study in the
next 6 weeks?. ( you can take a look at the screen, I will show you how
to work with step by step), you can log in your account.
5th. Now go with the first conditons: the way asking questions for mentors:
students ask question in the section : when clicking on link facebook
page. For the first time, student declare/di’kle ờ/ yourself into system by
sending a message “ my name is - student code:… ( 2 mandatory/men đơ
tơ ry/ information). The format when asking questions: “ Course code”
The problem is encountered/in’kaun tờ/ . Students only need to
declare for first time, the next time. Next, recognized question, Once
finished asking, the questions will be checked by mentors whether they
are recognize or not ( you ask to mentor about that immediately after
finished asking) or contact hannah to be checked.
 o Here is time frame /phrêm/ ask question. A: the time frame shows
the period that there’re only the call center is online : at that time,
the operator could try to help you find some mentors who are
available so that the waiting time can be longer. The successful
connection to mentors is not be guaranteed.B : The time frame
when both the call center and mentors are available : The
successful connection to mentors is guaranteed.C: The frame when
the system is offline : Students need to make a request to be
connected again in the time frame A or B.
o time each mentoring session : * Each connection session starts
with a block for 10 minutes, After 10 minutes, students choose to
extend the connection session for another 10 minutes (add 1 more
block) or not ( extend maximum time to 60 minutes)
o At the 9th minute of each block, the system announces the time will
be running out; after 10 minutes, the system shows 2 buttons “
continue” or “ End“ so that the students can choose.
o If the student choose “continue” the time will be add 10 more
minutes and extend maximum time 5 times in each
connection session.
o the students choose “End” or don’t do anything after 30
seconds: the system automatically disconnects the student
and asks the student to rate the mentors answer.
o The student can only disconnect at the 10th minute of each
block so if you want to finish early you can talk to mentor.

6th. Let now turn to important part is submission project: Project’s title
locates at the end of each module 2, 3, 4, 5 in the course. Please follow
the instructions and requirement in the topic to creat a project.
o Submit a project via the given link in the assessment part. (Please
kindly check your mail to confirm that you have successfully
submitted ), You need to log in email at Funix whenever
submitting a project. If you can not submit your project,
please contact to Hannah.
o Evaluation/I va li uây tion/ and Mark: Each project has
mandatory/men đơ tơ ry/ norm and (possible) optional norm.
 o A project is completed when all mandatory norm are passed.
o A Project is not completed: there are 2 cases:  
o         *    >=1 mandatory norm is not passed. Students have to
do and submit that norm until it’s PASSED. ( you have to submit
the complete project and not only submit the fail mandatory norm.
The mark of the norm resit is only counted 50% ).
o         *   Fail all projects, students have to do, submit again. The
project point will be sent to each student via email at least 7 days
after submission

7th. How to do the quiz test: Quiz is the final test after each lesson to test
the knowledge of that lesson. There are 4 types of quiz, I noted in file
word you can see when do the quiz.
o All “ quiz columns” reach 100% (meaning the total column reaches
100%) will complete the quiz
o

8th. I would like move to the next part: Final examination: Students fill in
the final exam form in Assessment part.
o Form of online exam: question and answer via Skype.
o Time: 20:00 – 23:00. All evening of the week( except Sundays,
public holidays, New Year Eve)
o The time of registration ( fill in the registration form ) is at least 32
hours before the exam time (the test time is 20:00 ). Example: if
you want to take the exam on May18, at least 12:00 on May17 you
need to fill in the registration form.
o Notification of exam time: the examination department send an
email to contestant in 24 hours before the examination time at the
lates
o he students who postpone the examination or the assignment score
is fail, they want to retake the next time must reply email from
examination department to notify before 6 hours exam starts.
o Student will have chance 3 exam times/course, if you have missed
the exam that will be lost 2 times
Finally; See learning outcome :
in conlution, let me sum up my main point: At funix, you proactive study
and you decide to study progress and the end time course.. I will support
you when you have difficulties or question regarding technical and learning

and facbook account. Students must complete 3 conditions sot hat taking
the final exam : 8 questions given for mentors, 100% completion of total
quiz columns, 4 passed projects. Register final form before 32 hours
examination time you want to participate. Read the file word I sent everyone
yester day because it have all information you need
