    (NEW) SUBSTATION PACKAGE ASSOCIATED WITH CONSULTANCY
    SERVICES FOR MEW, AFGHANISTAN.

    POWERGRID, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for aforesaid package. Bidding
    Documents are available for inspection & sale from 31/12/2007 to 15/02/2008 and may be
    purchased by paying Rs. 10,000/- in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Power Grid
    Corporation of India Ltd. payable at New Delhi/ Gurgaon. A pre-bid conference shall be
    held on 01/02/2008 at POWERGRID, Gurgaon. Bids shall be received upto 1100 hrs. on
    22/02/2008 and shall be opened on the same day at 1130 hrs. (IST). The detailed Qualifying
    Requirements are given in the Bidding Documents of the subject package. The
    complete Bidding Documents including tender drawings are available on our website
    http://www.powergridindia.com. Interested bidders can download the Bidding Documents
    and commence preparation of bids to gain time. However, they will be required to purchase
    the Bidding Documents from POWERGRID, (for submission of bid), which will be duly
    authenticated by the executive issuing the documents. In case of any discrepancy between the
    documents downloaded by the prospective bidder and the Bidding Documents (hard copy)
    issued by POWERGRID official, the latter shall prevail.
