EZCommand
Overview
EZCommand is an application that can be used to setup and configure an LCR
device such as an LCRII, LCR++ and LCR600. Users will be able to manage all
the settings on an LCR600 including Point-of-Sale functions. In addition, users
will also be able to save LCR configuration files that can be used to clone other
LCRs with similar configurations.

• With power off on the LCR-II. “Red” J10 jumper must be in “B” position
• “Red” knob must be in the “Calibration” (6 O’clock) position
• Click “Flash Software” tab to select LCR++ on EZCommand Lite

Flashing LCR II ++ (Part#840404/840405)
• Map Firmware/Language/Ticket by clicking on the small box on the right
• Click “Connect” & Apply power to the LCR II. You can apply power to the
LCRII first before clicking connect but may requires Power Cycle to Connect
• LCR Status should display connection message “Ready” to program
• At the bottom click “Program” to start Flashing the firmware to the LCR II
Note: Required firmware must be download from LC Public FTP website

“Clear All” Procedure
• Under “Registration” click “Connect” to the LCR II
• Under “General Setup” change the date to “01/01/00” & Click “Apply To LCR”
• Under “Security” Add Calibration Number to “65792” (Example: 14 + 65792=65806)
(If calibration number shows an “Error” count this as zero)
• Enter the Total number on the “Factory Key” box & click “Apply To LCR”
• Click “LCR Reset” to select “Clear All” under “Factory Setup” & “Apply To LCR”

• Apply power to the LCR 600 unit while “Red” knob in the Calibration position
• From EZCommand , Select “LCR600” under “Flash Software”
• Check mark “Firmware” only and map the firmware. Example: SR600.s19 or SR601.s19
• Click “Connect” and LCR Status change to
• Click “Program” to Flash the Firmware at the bottom of EZCommand
Note: If flashing new CPU board, display will show required files to be flash. All required
files must be downloaded from Public FTP website.

LCR 600 Drive Format
• LCR 600 drive can be “Format” only from the LCR 600 using door keypad. You
cannot format the drive thru EZCommad program.
Step 1: Change the date under “General Setup” to 01/01/00
Step 2: Under “Security” add Calibration # to 65792 Example (4 + 65792 = 65796)
Step 3: Under Security select “Factory Key” and enter 65796. Press Enter when done
Step 4: Go to Factory Setup 2 screen to access “Format Drive” option
Step 5: Select “Format Drive” and select “Yes”
Step 6: Power cycle the power on LCR 600 and display will show up ref to slide 34

Flashing LCR 600 (single file)
• If necessary, a single file can be flash in the LCR 600
Step 1: Move “Red” knob switch in the “Calibration” position
Step 2: Pick and map the file under Flash Software/LCR600
Step 3: Click on “Program” to start flashing the file
Note: If File exists, below message will appear. Click Yes to flash the file

Step 1: Power off, LCR 600 “Red” knob can be in Stop or Calibration position
Step 2: Connect flash cable in the back of display “RS232 port”

Step 3: Check “Firmware” box and map LCR 600 display file “SR006.s19” under
“Flash Software/LCR600”
Step 4: Click “Connect” & “apply power” to the LCR 600. Display will go blank
Step 5: Click “Program” and display firmware will be loaded. Partial display will be
displayed after completion of flashing
Step 6: “Power cycle” the LCR 600
