Q.1 Arda is an island off the coast of the country of Indica. It is home to a
community of 700 people living their life according to their own system of
rules. Indica wishes to make Arda a part of itself. In the pursuance of this
goal, as a result of an agreement, Arda accepted to become a part of Indica.
This constitutes a valid acquisition of territory under the rules of
International Law.
In order to address the small size of the island, Indica wishes to incorporate
it as a part of an existing state. Explore the most suitable option available to
Indica for the said assimilation of Arda into the Indican Union. Indica has
the same Constitutional Law as that of India.
In the light of the above, examine the scope of the role that constitutional
morality could play in promoting fraternity among citizens. Give reasons for
your answer.
The group does not receive any state grant. The Chairman of the group is a
member of Parliament, and certain other members in the Governing Council
of the Group are also members of two State Legislatures.
The Group is also involved in a lot of charity work especially through its Old
Age Homes. It has also adopted 12 villages in India.
In the light of the stated facts, analyse the nature of Infinity Media according
to Article 12 of the Constitution and relevant case laws.
