    A very warm greeting everyone!
    Hi, I am Akshita. I belong to the city of Ambala, a divisional headquarter of the North
    Railway Zone. I am pursuing MBA in Marketing/Finance/HR etc from Lovely Professional
    University with a current CGPA of 8.5 (If it is good, then only share CGPA). I completed my
    graduation in B.Com/B.Tech etc from Kurukshetra University, Haryana.
    During my graduation, I was always drawn towards sales and marketing/finance/HR world
    and have always been excited by how the sales and marketing/finance/HR division of
    companies drive business. With a strong wish to learn the best practices in the field and
    understand the psychological as well as managerial aspects related to this domain, I choose
    the specialisation of Marketing/Finance/HR during MBA.
    I got an internship/live project opportunity with the Himalaya group in the sales department
    where I was given a target achieving sales of cosmetic products worth Rs.50,000. It was an
    exciting period of 30 days and I put my best foot forward to achieve the target. I understood
    the value of patience, convincing skills and product knowledge during this internship. I was
    able to grow in confidence with each day of internship and with the guidance of my industry
    mentors.
    I kick-started my extracurricular journey in LPU by joining the Marketing/Finance/HR etc
    club where I was given plenty of opportunities to explore myself, to conduct events and to
    manage teams. I also grabbed the opportunity as marketing manager, where I had to build
    the brand image of the club and also promote the club events.
    During the recent lockdown period I undertook many online courses namely ( name some
    courses here) which helped me enhance my skills and understanding in the area of
    marketing/finance/HR etc. I was able to spend quality time in enhancing my knowledge and
    industry awareness.
    My short term goal is to gain industry exposure, grab opportunities in the field of
    marketing/finance/HR and to achieve my long-term goal of being a marketing/finance/HR
    specialist. I wish to upgrade my knowledge and skills in the coming times to strengthen by
    position in the industry.
    Apart from academics, I have been active in many student ventures. I am a regular blood
    donor and also a volunteer at an NGO camp to save the nature. I also joined NSS during
    graduation where we helped children in slum areas with their education and basic needs
    I also organised a workshop on XYZ topic (Introduction of Marketing, Business Analytics etc)
    during MBA. In addition to this, I have participated in numerous literary events and domain
    events where I have participated individually as well as represented teams from my school. I
    have spoken at various public speaking platforms by participating in debates, elocution,
    paper presentations, case study competitions and even poetry events.
    During my free time, I read articles on marketing/finance/HR. Now a days I am updating
    myself with digital marketing concept as it is the backbone of every business in this era. I
    have an active interest in stock markets so I update myself on a regular basis with the
    industry news.
    As knowledge is for brain, fitness is for body. I am also fond of running and cycling to keep
    myself fit and high spirited.
    A positive person with a proactive approach towards solving problems is my tagline. I am a
    strong believer in creative thinking and using innovation to solve problems. I strongly
    believe in maintaining high work ethics and make sure that I complete my tasks with utmost
    sincerity.
    I am grateful for this opportunity given to present myself. I assure you that with my skills,
    knowledge and experience, I will be prove to be an asset to your organisation.
