    Misamis University is known for its academic excellence and service that has been
    nurtured since its establishment. As one of the student of Misamis University, I have experience
    it myself on how the institution will shapes students to become better version of themselves. The
    utmost role of the school is to make us reach our maximum academic potential by offering the
    required push, but the task of the school doesn’t end there. It is also a place where a foundation
    of character can be built for becoming upstanding adults.

    The VMO and core values of the school will guide me to pass my academic venture as I
    carry out those values and insights that have been thought by the school with us. According to
    Disney (2020), when our values are clear to us, making decisions becomes easier. Once you
    know what’s truly important to you, you can use this information to make decisions that align
    with the things you want most from your life. Since academic achievement is important to me, I
    choose to do things with a lot of growth opportunity. The personality of striving for progress and
    not settling for less is one of those values that I learned from the school. So whenever I make my
    academic task, I do it honestly and fairly at the best of my ability.
