Objectives:

By the end of this lesson,

1. Students can mention things in the bag schools in English and it


meanings.

2. Students are able to pronounce words the name of schools utensils


correctly.

3. Students are able to read aloud well and correctly

Materials and Preparation:

 Dictionary for children

 Schools utensils ( a notebook, a pencil, a stapler, a ruler, a marker,


a paper, etc)

 Video “Schools Supplies Song for Kids”

Activity:

Stage 1: Opening (3 minutes)

- The teacher greets students and opens class by praying together

- The teacher checks the attendance list of students

- The teacher introduces students to the material to be taught by


asking what items they usually carry in their school bags

Stage2: Main activity (15 minutes)

Activity 1

1. The teacher asks students what objects are in their school bags

2. The teacher displays pictures of school supplies

3. The teacher gives an example of how to read the word with the
correct pronounce

Activity 2

1. Teacher and students sing the song “School Supplies” together.

2. The teacher asks students to come in front of the class and sing in
pairs to train students' confidence
Activity 3

1. After watching the video, the teacher asks students to write down
what objects are in the video

2. The teacher asks students to read the name of the object

Stage3: Assessment (10 minutes)

1. The teacher gives students a worksheet containing pictures of


school supplies

2. The teacher asks students to match the picture with the correct
name of the object in English, by looking at each picture dictionary

3. After completing work, the teacher collects student worksheets and


corrects them

4. The teacher gives worksheets to students that contain several


sentences

5. the teacher asks students to read the sentence in front of the class
aloud

Stage 4: Closing (2 minutes)

- Teachers and students together make conclusions from teaching


and learning activities

- The teacher gives homework to students to add to their vocabulary

- The teacher explains about the upcoming material

- The teacher together with the students closes the lesson by saying
hamdalah and closing greetings.

Assessment:

1. Visual assessment: Worksheet containing random pictures and it


names, then students match them by drawing a connecting line.

2. Oral assessment: The teacher asks students to read several


sentences properly.
