WELCOME ON BOARD.
MAIN ENGINE
The Main Engine is KAWASAKI-MAN B&W 6S50ME-B 9.5. The performance of the Main Engine is
satisfactory. With full sea load max exhaust temp is about 320°C and all other parameters are within
limit.
D/G’S PERFORMANCE
3 sets Aux. Engines, working satisfactory as per ships sea trial service & maintained properly maker
instruction. All spare only ship yard supply.
All Aux. engine fuel injector pressure tested as per same fuel valve & performance satisfactory.
Aux. eng. No.1 main fuel suction v/v malfunctioning. It’s to be changed depend on as per spare
supply.
PURIFIER
► There are two H.F.O. purifiers, one Main L.O. purifier & one Aux. L.O. Purifier & one D.O purifier.
► All purifiers are operational.
► Aux L.O. purifier is operated for A/E sump to sump.
PUMP
► All pumps general condition is good.
► All sea water P/P’s are mechanical seal type, at Chittagong need extra care to prevent leakage.
► It’s recommended for extra fresh water cooling arrangement to prevent damage of mechanical
seal & ingress of muddy water.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT

All the safety equipment must be tested as per the schedule and must be logged in the Em’cy
equipment test report/Saturday routine book. All safety equipments are in good working condition.
► It is electric motor driven, situated in steering gear room & in very good condition.
► L/Boat engines are good & start with single try. They are battery starter.
► Rescue boat engine condition is very good.
4. EMERGENCY GENERATOR:
► Em’cy gen condition is very good. Automatically takes load in case of black out.
8. INCINERATOR:
► Working satisfactorily. OMD alarm tried out at regular interval without any disturbances.
► Fixed CO2 discharge system provided for engine room & cargo holds.
► This is regularly checked & tested for safe operation.
► Working satisfactorily. Fire detectors are tested on the weekly basis as per routine in such a way
that all detectors are tested in every three months.
► Working satisfactory.
► Operation is satisfactory
► All LSA & FFA equipments are in good working condition. E/R all equipments are checked by 4 th
engineer.
► 3rd officer is responsible to maintain all LSA & FFA equipments.
► Last PSC inspection held at Santos. So vessel is normally trading CTG to SANTOS.
► All spare and store requisitions raised by me are nicely maintained in separate filing system.
► Invoices and received copies are maintained in designated file.
HEAT EXCHANGER
DECK MACHINIRIES.
Mooring winch, windlass & hatch cover operation are included with same P/p, these are in steering gear
room, normally operation carried by engine stuff. Operation smooth & sound proof with take care of
lube oil temperature.
DECK CRANE
Number of 4 Nos deck crane is good operational condition without trouble free. Vessel trading area port
CTG & Santos from after taking over. So crane is to use in CTG anchorage. Before arrival checked all of
these by electrical engineer with the help of other’s. Cleaning schedule both party (deck & engine) is
involved.
ACCOMMODATION AC
FRIDGE COMPRESSOR
Operation is satisfactory. Main cargo hold bilge pipe suction line blanked before loading.
