    Dear member of search committee

    I’m writing to apply for the position in ATA based on your advertisement on your website. I’m
    currently completed my Msc. In Geography department specializing in GIS & Remote sensing
    from Jimma University in 2019.

    It’s my childhood enthusiasm to obtain a change and support our agricultural sector to realize the
    ambition that your organization has founded.To accelarate thenorganizational goal of any
    institution the advantage of land monitoring technology like earth observatory sattellite and the
    use of GIS in modelling the earth and its resource are growing much from time to time.Thus
    GIS and remote sensing technology is found to be importan in agricultural sector especially for
    precision agriculture,pest and plant desease control,land suitability analysis for different
    ceop,watershed and natural resource management,disaster management,weather and climate
    change modelling,soil mapping,land use planning and hundred of application in agricultural
    sector.This is due to mainly the powerful capacity of GIS for modelling and prediction and the
    integration of GIS with remotely sensed data.Thus the field is expanding and the reliance of
    many institution for data analysis and manipulation.I hope your organization may also need this
    field. position of lecture.

    My academic training and 7+ years of working experience in different level of government


    setting have contributed on my professional service activities. I’m excited to share and continue
    to explore new methodology with your organization to expand my proffessional and academic
    knowledge. .

    I have also worked to Jimma zone land administration and use office as land use expert, cadastral
    surveying, urban land use planning, and GIS expert and sustainable watershed management.
    During my service to this office I’m fortunate enough to train experts from 20’district branch of
    Jimma zone land administration office TVET student whenever required in different skill and
    profession. I found that my profession provides me with a broad view of excution capacity as
    well as coordinating,planning and supervion with my diverse skill . My communication dkill
    with different stakeholder and My confidence and interest to this position I’m look forward to
    the opportunity to not only the existing course but also work to develop a new approach and
    skill that help your organization in real world problem solving mindset.
