1 Introduction

The PCU-ANT-001 is a hand held AISG communication device for

reading information from Rosenberger Technology CO., LTD and
adjusting the antenna electrical beam downtilt. It will read and display all
antenna information and the current down tilt angle. However, it is not
able to edit this information.
3GPP/AISG2.0/AISG1.1 capable.
1.1 Application

PCU-ANT-001 has the capability of AISG communication and

adjustment of antenna information such as:
• Unique Identifier
• Model Number
• AISG Band
• Antenna Beamwidth
• Antenna Gain
• Maximum Minimum Electrical Down Tilt
• Installation Date
• Installer ID number
• Base Station ID Number
• Sector of Antenna
• Bearing of the Antenna
• Applied Mechanical DownTilt
In addition, the PCU-ANT-001 is capable of transmitting to the
antenna instructions to change the current down tilt of any of the three
bands, and maintains communication until the new down tilt is set.
The PCU-ANT-001 is a handheld, 14.4v Li-ion battery operated unit
with an external battery charger. This battery supplies both power to the
PCU-ANT-001 circuitry and provides all needed power to any connected
antenna.

5 Transportation and storage

5.1 Transportation
Equipment can be transported by cars, trains, ships, aircraft, or such
that to prevent rain, avoid large vibration and impact.
Equipment should be handled lightly to avoid damage.
5.2 Storage
Packaged equipment should be placed in the dry ambient ventilated
• warehouse without acid, alkaline and other corrosive gases.
Storage period shall not exceed two years, for more than two years
the unit battery need to be tested.
