    Currently, the Renal Care and Treatment Unit of Dr. Jorge P.

    Royeca
    Hospital has 91 regular patients that undergo dialysis treatment and 30
    patients from which are the elderly. Ideally, the patients must
    undergo three times of dialysis per week but, in the Philippines, the
    patients are only taking said treatment twice a week and has a total of 104
    sessions per year. The total cost for the said treatment will range up to
    four thousand pesos per session.
