Reflection PNU
Reflection PNU
There is a visualization that PNU will become the breeding ground for quality level educators, education
managers, and research specialists. These personnel are envisioned to be the shapers of the future and
will be spearheading the growth of our country. In order for this vision to be realized, students, faculty
members, and the administration (as well as other stakeholders) have a huge task at hand. This vision
will only be done if we go hand in hand. In order for us to inspire and shape the quality of education
system, we should be openly communicating and comprehending each other. With exchange of ideas, it
is possible for us to take care of one another.
Our institution’s mission is to nurture the people that they are envisioning. Nurturing means to help
somebody/something to develop and be successful (“Nurture,” n.d.). In order to achieve this goal,
certain rules and regulations are in placed in order to mold students into responsible individuals while
protecting their liberties. With their rights being protected, this will ensure students will be capable of
expressing their ideas free from retaliation. Of course, while everyone’s freedom is ensured, this does
not make everyone free from consequences as the student handbook clearly sets sanctions for every
varying offense. This is placed to create order and harmony for everyone involved. Innovation will be
possible if everyone is free to express their thoughts and innovation coming from responsible individuals
means that everything will come from a good place.
Our university’s quality policy is embedded with their mission and vision. The commitment to the
continuous growth of the institution with compliance to International Quality Standards and statutory
and regulatory requirement means that our vision to become internationally known will come from a
standpoint of good intentions. The quality policy in my opinion is to ensure that everyone will strive to
become responsible innovators by adhering to standards set forth by our national government as well as
the international standards. There will be no shortcuts taken in order to become the crème de la crème
of our industry. This will only be achieved through the core functions of instruction, research, extension,
and production. This will be achieved with the strategic direction of our institutions which are: shared
vision of excellence, quality assurance, systems-based solutions, branding, internationalization,
collaboration and partnership, product and service development, responsiveness to stakeholders,
sustainability, and human capital management. For as long as these steps are being followed, we are
making our way to become a top-tier producers of world’s innovative educators, managers, and
research experts.
