LOURDE COLLEGE OF NURSING- SIDHI SADAN
NURSING EDUCATION
Name of student teacher : Delphy Varghese

Topic : Anatomy of liver

Subject & unit : Anatomy & Physiology - unit 4

Duration : 20 minutes

Group : 1st year BSc Nursing Students

Venue : 1st year BSc Nursing class room

Date & time : 25/05/2020

Previous knowledge of the group : The group has basic knowledge about the structure of liver from higher secondary biology
class
General objective:

At the end of the class students attain knowledge regarding anatomy of liver and apply during the physical examination to identify the structure
and position in clinical practice.
Specific objective:

At the end of the class students will be able to,

 identify anatomical features of liver

 locate the position of liver

 state the color, shape, and weight of liver

 list out the blood supply of the liver

 discuss the ligaments of the liver

 differentiate out the lobes of the liver

 illusterate the surfaces of the liver
