    GRADE 1- ART (1ST QUARTER)

    I. Objectives:
    Content Standard: The Learner demonstrates understanding of lines shapes, colors and texture,
    and principles of balance, proportion and variety through drawing
    Performance Standard: The Learner creates a portrait of himself and his family which shows
    the elements and principles of art by drawing
    Learning Competency: identifies different lines, shapes, texture used by artists in drawing

    A. Preparation

    What is line? Pupil: Straight line

    LOOKING FOR...

    Connect the dots...

    i. Now get your crayons and bond paper. Pupil: Yes, sir!
    ii. From this point direct them with oral Pupil: ok sir!
    instructions- the point goes up, falls down, dances
    around ... goes back, goes forward.

    E. Homework

    Bring again your art materials tomorrow.
