    INNOVATIVE METHODS OF TEACHING ENGLISH

    English, the official language of the entire world is a very tricky language to
    teach. Infact every language varies to teach. English is a very old language and has
    undergone many forms changes from proto. English derived from the Latin and
    the German culture to the modern English. Which was established after in the
    post renaissance period.

    Language is important because it's one of the main ways to communicate


    and interact with other people around us. It keeps us in contact with other
    people. English language is considered as an international language and it has
    become the most important language to people in many parts of the world. It is
    most widely used language.

    In today’s world English is taught in a very orthodox manner. Teaching the


    alphabets and the formation of the words is essential and must. The children
    must be able to speak the words and understand their meaning before writing
    them down. There are some methods help the students learn the language better
    without them actually realising and also it keeps their interest. Methods are,
    Enacting the stories, Teaching through conversation, Word games, Competitions.

    I . ENACTING THE STORIES

    Stories form a very integral part of teaching a language, stories help teach
    the students about the formation of the sentence and how to express their
    thoughts and ideas. A story is suppose to appeal to the creative part of the brain .
    There is better to use there stories of teach English. In this way the students
    personaly engaged with the story and they bring their own interpretation of the
    character to life . It also help them understand other people interpretation of the
    story and helps them have a healthy conversation about it . It also help them in
    learning the language

    II . TEACHING THROUGH CONVERSATION

    Conversations are the most useful way teaching the language. The sentence
    construction and the grammar is not something that can be entirely taught by
    rules that can only happens through a lot of reading and lot of listening. This
    process may take some time but in the end it would be the most efficient one in
    teaching the language

    III . WORD GAMES

    Games are very good tool for the students to practice and reinforce the new
    vocabularies. To achieve a better understanding of the language. They have some
    advantages like ,it break the usual routine of language class, they are Motivating
    and challenging they provide language practice in various skills- LSWR
    IV . COMPETITION

    Most of the time competition like debates and elocution also helps the
    students a lift in learning the language as the aspects of the competitions keep
    them at the best in conversation. It forces them to use best possible construction
    of sentences to put forward there opinion and to use good vocabulary etc. Also
    this competition helps them address large crowds which is again a very important
    part of personality development

    A language plays very important role in our lives. They helps us to express our
    emotions . They helps us explain what we want. Since English is the official
    language of this world it is almost importance that this language has to be taught
    in such a way that of will help is not just to speak and write and listen but to
    communicate. That is the purpose of the language and that is what is must be
    used for.
