Chapter 1 - Outline of EZU-PP4

1.1 Purpose of use
The Picture in Picture Software EZU-PP4 loads optical images from endoscopes and celoscopes
to display both ultrasound and optical images simultaneously.
In this manual, the Picture in Picture function is referred to as PinP.

1.2 Features
(1) PinP mode:
Used to load optical images from endoscopes and celoscopes in order to display both
ultrasound and optical images simultaneously.
Ultrasound and optical images can be displayed on the monitor of the ultrasound
diagnostic scanner at the same time, or the user can switch between two types of images.

(2) Changing display methods:

The method of display for optical images can be changed as necessary.
The user can select from the following display methods: Small Display, Half Display, and
Full Display. Use the image selection key to switch between the displays.

(3) Using the remote controller:

The optional remote controller can be used to show/hide optical images, and to switch
between display sizes.

(4) Using the foot switch:

The optional foot switch can be used to show/hide optical images and start/stop image
capturing.
