[2] They have two children together, Diane May born in 1990 and Zharmaine Anne Pearl born in 1991, and their birth certificates are attached. [3] Felizardo and Mahal got married on August 18, 2000 and their marriage certificate is also attached.

    AFFIDAVIT OF LEGITIMATION

    We, FELIZARDO D. CORONADO and MAHAL ILIO

    CORONADO, of legal age, resident of Libertad Pumping

    Station, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with

    law do hereby depose and say: That,

    1. Since the year 1990, we have been living together as

    husband and wife without the benefit of marriage.

    2. In 20 April 1990, we were blessed with the birth of

    our first child DIANE MAY a copy of her baptismal

    certificate is attached hereto as Annex “A” and made

    an integral part of this affidavit.

    3. In 1 April 1991, we were again blessed with the birth

    of our second child ZHARMAINE ANNE PEARL a copy

    of her baptismal certificate is attached hereto as

    Annex “B” and made an integral part of this affidavit.

    4. On 18 August 2000, We, FELIZARDO D. CORONADO

    and MAHAL ILIO CORONADO, got married at

    Barangay Biga-a Chapel, Malinao, Aklan a copy of

    our marriage certificate is attached hereto as Annex

    “C” and made an integral part of this affidavit.


    5. The surname which is being used by our two children

    is still ILIO, and that because of our marriage their

    surnames will now be CORONADO and that their

    status of being ILLEGITIMATE now be considered

    LEGITIMATED by operation of law.

    6. For this reason, we are executing this affidavit to

    make the necessary corrections in the surnames of

    our two children and that their status is now

    considered as LEGITIMATED and to attest to the

    truthfulness of the foregoing facts.

    AFFIANTS FURTHER SAYETH NAUGHT.
