This spreadsheet calculates a system curve based on a known flow and head determined by a pump test or by a design metric. You can

add it as a tab in a digitized pump or fan curve spreadsheet and then use the results to plot the system curve on the pump curve, plot
lines that intersect at the design point or other points on the system curve and plot a "dot" at the design point and other points. PressureOld The pressure you know in consistent units

Design Conditions
This table can be used to create lines that cross at the design
point on a pump curve chart.
Head Line 1,800 90.00 Set the flow values in the yellow cells to match the range of the X axis
0 90.00
Flow Line 1,100 200.00 Set the head values in the orange cells to match the range of the Y axis
1,100 0.00
You can also use these tables to create a "dot" at the design point
or known operating point by plotting the numbers in the blue cells
as a series, which gives you a line with only one point. When you
do that, you probably will not see the "dot" on your chart because
the markers for the line are turned off or are too small. But if
you select the series by using the "Current Selection" area of
"Format" tab associated with the "Chart Tools" you can format
the marker to be larger, and have fill and color characteristics,
just like you would if you wanted all of the markers on a line to
show up.
