 Define qualitative research designs;
 Differentiate the types of qualitative research design through group
activity; and
 Execute the qualitative research designs through conducting a
study.

Activity “Picture Analysis”

 Have the students analyze the given pictures


 Have them share to the class their thoughts about the picture
C. Learning Activities
C.1.Activity  Think of a topic that has in your mind and imagine a
portrait/painting as product of your interest then answer the
following question:
 Why the topic is seems interesting for you?
 How will you achieve the product of your painting?
 List down your objectives and plans of achieving it

 Distribute the handouts that focus on qualitative research design

C.2.Analysis  What are the types of qualitative research design?


 What is/are the criteria in choosing such research design in
your study?
 How important these research design in the solving issues,
problems and other related concerns in our society?
C.3.Abstraction  There are five types of research design namely; case study,
ethnography, grounded theory, narrative inquiry, and
phenomenology
 It depends on the nature of the research because each types
of research have its own dimension and framework on how it
to be used.
 These would lead to new of knowledge, a solution to a
problem, and the foundation of every discovery.
