    Sto. Nino Elementary School held a home-based and school-based tree planting activity on June 25, 2021 to support the national Arbor Day celebration and increase awareness of the importance of trees. Teachers, staff, students and parents were encouraged to plant at least one fruit tree in the school or at home, following health protocols. Students from the community also participated by planting fruit seedlings like mango, atis and others and agreed to care for the seedlings. Photos and videos of the tree planting were collected for documentation.

    Narrative Report on Arbor Day 2021

    In support of the National Tree Plating Activity, Sto. Nino Elementary School
    took its part as it held its home-based and school- based tree planting activity last
    June 25, 2021 which aims to increase awareness on the importance of trees and
    tree planting in our activity.

    SNES personnel which compose of both teaching and non-teaching, pupils


    and parents in their home were encouraged and requested to plant one (1) fruit tree
    in the school and in their home and in school designated area following the minimum
    health standard protocols.

    Moreover with the restrictions of face to face, the activity extends beyond as
    pupils from their respective communities were obliged to participate in the said
    activity. Numerous fruit seedlings were planted which include mango, atis and
    others. They will be in-charge of watering and safeguarding the seedlings.

    After tree- planting activity, they were asked to send photo documentations
    and videos for documentation purposes.
