    REFLECTION KICK – OFF BRIGADA ESKWELA 2021

    Brigada Eskwela known as National Schools Maintenance Week entails that endeavors that extremely
    exhibit the spirit of shared responsibility within the community inn helping the Department of Education
    in providing quality, accessible, relevant, and liberating basic education for all Filipino learners. This
    amied to bring together all its stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, efforts and
    resources the school facilities for the opening of classes.

    Sto. Tomas National High School had the very fist School Based Virtual Kick Off Program – Brigada
    Eskwela and Enrollment Procedures 2021 on August 23, 2021 via google meet. The program is started
    with a prayer lead by, Mrs. Digna M. Morioan, HTIII-Filipino, followed by the singing of the National
    Anthem and Nationalistic songs presented by Mr. Jaime Z. Romero, Teacher III via an audio-visual
    presentation, after which Mrs. Maribeth B. Ramos, MT I-SHS assigned to do the roll call of the per
    department. To formally start the program our very own School Principal, Dr. Eliseo C. Buenafe
    delivered his opening remarks and the declaration of the start of STNHS Brigada Eskwela 2021, to
    enlighten us the session for this event, Mrs. Imelda Butardo, MT II-SHS give us the birds eye view of the
    session, followed by the Guidelines of Brigada Eskwela 2021 presented by Mrs. Renalyn D. Delos Reyes,
    Assistant Principal II, Mr. Mark Anthony G. Abacco give us the matrix/ program of activities so that we
    are guided with the different activities. Other programs for the Brigada Eskwela 2021 are discussed by
    the different teachers, Ms. Mary Danielle P. Andrino for the Wins, Mrs. Flordeliza U. Santios for the
    brigade Pagbasa, Mr. Mike Gilbert B. Boado for Gulayan sa Tahanan ,Mr. Romiel Boado for the School
    Disaster Risk Reduction and Mr.Dante G. Eisma reminded us for the updates on the released books/
    modules, classroom inspection and inventory of equipment.The half of the session discussed the
    Guidelines – Enrollement 2021, Mr. maximiano L. Carbonell deliverd the MLESF, Roles of the Focal
    Persons and the Roles of the advisers, followed by Dr. Pedro A. Arongat for the enrollment of
    transferees from private schools, Mr. Adrian V. Caras for the LIS related issues and Message of
    encouragement was delivered by Mr. Mellan T. Acuna. The session was very successful as Mrs. Rufina
    Engano delivered her closing remarks.

    All DepEd employees are encouraged to join the Brigada Eskwela activities by offering their skills, sharing
    their time or providing their in kin assistance and support to public schools near their residence.
