    ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT OF


    SCHOOL GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE

    ACTIVITY OBJECTIVES:
    In order to create a work atmosphere that is conducive to good supervisor-employee
    relations and improved employee morale, the School Grievance Comittee shall aim to:
    1. activate and strengthen the Department’s existing grievance machinery;
    2. settle grievances at the lowest level possible in the Department; and
    3. provide a catalyst for the development of capabilities to settle disputes.

    DATE: February 8, 2021


    VENUE: Anao High School Principal’s Office

    NARRATIVE REPORT:
    As provided under the Rules of the Department, the grievance machinery shall
    refer to a workable system for determining or providing the best way to remedy specific
    cause or causes of the grievance. It is intended to help promote wholesome and
    desirable employee relations in the Department and to prevent employee discontent
    and dissatisfaction.
    The Anao High School Grievance Committee lead by the Anao High School’s
    School Principal Dr. Raquel G. Bautista as the Comimitte Chairman together with the
    ahs Grievance Committee Vice-Chairman Zenaida B. Corpuz (Anao High School
    Guidance Counselor Designate) and Grievance Committee Member Liza D. Esteban
    (Faculty Association President)
    Conducted a meeting on February 8, 2021 at exactly 9:00 in the morning. They had a
    walk through on the Roles and Responsibilities of the Grievance Committee as well as

    its individual members. During the said meeting, Dr. Raquel G. Bautista as the School
    Head and the Chairman of the School Grievance Committee, provided a walk through
    the contents of the Dept. Order. No. 35, s.2004 in which she gave emphasis on the the
    composition of school grievance committee. The members agreed since they are the
    Faculty President and the Guidance counselor designate. During the meeting the body
    also discussed the the seven (7) responsibilities stated in the Deped Order. Ma’am
    Zenaida Corpuz, made clarification as to whether these responsibilities will be
    implemented in the school level. The body therefore came to an agreement that the
    committee shall create another duties and responsibilities suited to the school level.
    Another agenda tackled during the meeting was that Peer tutoring cannot be done due
    to pandemic. And that Vermi Composting will be stop due to the retirement of Sir
    Theody Barroga who is in charged. The body then agreed on that peer tutoring will be
    replaced by parent or guardian tutoring. And that with regards to Sir Theody Barroga’s
    retirement, the school must come up with a new committee who will manage Vermi
    Composting.
