TELE PACK X LED –

New Dimensions in LED Stroboscopy
 The TELE PACK X LED continues the tradition of the portable all-in-one systems from
KARL STORZ. It can be used for a wide range of applications from the doctor’s office through
to the operating room and, therefore, offers a considerable advantage in ENT procedures. The
optional stroboscopy function highlights the performance range. A wide range of accessories
is available for this purpose.
The powerful all-in-one unit combines all the features required for optimal endoscopic
imaging: Monitor, LED light source, camera control unit and data management with an
integrated network function. Integrated data management enables comprehensive recording of
surgical interventions. Multiple USB ports, an SD card slot and the possibility to integrate the
unit into the hospital and/or practice network offer many options to archive captured photos
and videos or reprocess these at an external destination.

 The USB footswitch activates the unit’s stroboscopy mode. In combination with the
microphone set, the TELE PACK X LED provides an optimal view of the vocal folds.

 Data Management
The integrated data management allows comprehensive recording of procedures. Multiple
USB ports and an SD/SDHC card reader are available for storing data. Thanks to the
integrated network function, patient images and videos can be transmitted to the hospital or
practice network through various export options.
If a keyboard and printer are connected, patient data can be directly entered and printed out.

Image and Video Playback

In addition to data storage, the all-in-one camera system features a gallery function for
viewing endoscopic images and playing stored videos.

 SCENARA® .connect offers a centralized DICOM and HL7 communication interface
between KARL STORZ documentation systems and existing information and archiving
systems. The SCENARA® .connect worklist mode allows patient data from the HIS / PACS
to be called up on the TELE PACK X LED which can then be transmitted back to the
HIS / PACS together with images and videos after the examination.

SCENARA® .store coordinates all endoscopic data, including patient and procedure data,
from various systems at a central location and thus enables fast and mobile data access.
With SCENARA® .store, any data generated with the TELE PACK X LED can be accessed
from any PC, laptop or iPad connected to the network. Image and video data are stored in
an efficient manner and clearly displayed. Data can then be viewed, edited and compared or
shared with a colleague.
