IBM Maximo for Oil and Gas contains 23 applications that are designed
specifically for the oil and gas industry. Eleven applications are enhanced versions
of standard Maximo Asset Management applications. These enhanced
applications include fields, features, and actions that are specific to the oil and gas
industry.
The following table lists the applications that are specific to IBM Maximo for
Oil and Gas. Applications are listed by module. The table summarizes the oil
and gas-specific features in each application. The applications that are
available to you depend on your role and the security configuration of your
application server.
Change (Oil) > You can initiate change requests and support change processes.
MOC Requests (Oil)
Change (Oil) > You can process change requests created in the MOC Requests

Planning > You can associate regulations, conditions for work, and reasons for work

For a list of tables and columns that are unique to IBM Maximo for Oil and Gas,
see Database Tables and Columns in the IBM Maximo for Oil and Gas
Information Center. The list of tables and columns includes data type and column
length, and indicates whether columns are required.
After you install Maximo for Oil and Gas, you can run SQL queries to generate
information about these tables and columns. Use the following SQL statements,
modified as needed:

of the new columns in the Maximo Asset Management database tables. The
