CBSE SOCIAL SCIENCE PROJECT WORK- X

1. Every student has to compulsorily undertake any one project on the following


topics:
 Consumer Awareness
OR
Social Issues
OR
Sustainable Development
2. Objective: The overall objective of the project work is to help students gain an insight
and pragmatic understanding of the theme and see all the Social Science disciplines from
interdisciplinary perspective. It should also help in enhancing the Life Skills of the
students.
Students are expected to apply the Social Science concepts that they have learnt over
the years in order to prepare the project report.
Students can collect data and use different primary and secondary resources to prepare
the project. If possible, different forms of art may be integrated in the project work.
3. The distribution of marks over different aspects relating to Project Work is as follows:

General Instructions:
1. The Cover Page should be attractive and relevant to the Topic.
2. Make use of A4 size sheets.
3. Project has to be pictorial and Data based prepared by using eco- friendly
products without incurring too much expenditure. Paste black and white or
coloured photographs.

4. Use of black and blue Ink is only permissible for writing headings and content
respectively.
5. Project has to be handwritten.
6. It has to be presented in a file form.
7. Project should be limited to not more than 12-15 Pages.
8. Project carries 5 Marks.
