    NARRATIVE REPORT
    ON THE SCHOOL BASED GSP ENCAMPMENT

    Scouting is a value laden activity which is very important part of student’s life. It
    builds a character that is useful to the community and the society. It imparts learning and
    teaches skills that are useful in the daily life. The learning that being taught in scouting helps
    the individual student to be fruitful and beneficial in nation building.
    To make scouting enjoyable, the scouting activities are thoroughly prepared in order
    that the scouters will not forget the experiences that they will encounter during the camping
    activities. Every preparation from the opening, up to the campfire celebration is unique that it
    makes the scouting activity a well-remembered activity to the students.
    Since scouting is integrated as part of school activities, Balagan Elementary School
    conducted its scouting activity in the school. The School-Based BSP CAMPORAL and GSP
    ENCAMPMENT were participated by the whole community of students. The joint program
    of the scouters included the rededication of the scout oath and law. The formal opening was
    done by the scout commissioner Arceli M Pedro. Such an event conducted by each officiating
    officials.The scouters joined, cheered, yelled and enjoyed. After the activities, the scouters
    took rest and ate lunch. In the evening, one of the highlights of the scouting were the search
    for Mr. POGI and Ms. KIKAY 2018. Mr. R-Jhay Cabasag won the title as Mr. Pogi while
    Ms. Kimberly Martinez was crowned as Ms. Kikay 20 18. After the pageant, Mr. Jesus B.
    Ignacio Jr. facilitated the campfire as the culmination activity of the scouters. It was a
    lifetime success since it was the first time the whole students of the school witness the sacred
    campfire activity.
    The scouters seemed tireless, the teachers equally energetic as they cheered and act
    like mother/father to their scouts. Satisfied and fulfilled. All scouters went home with their
    hearts filled with joy and pride.
