    ‫ۡن‬ ‫ُّد‬ ‫َٰه‬ ‫ْا‬ ‫ُن‬ ‫َأ‬ ‫َن‬ ‫َّل‬


    ‫اَم و ٱ و َر َّب ۡم ۚ ِل ِذي ۡحَس و ِف ى ِذِه ٱل َي ا‬ ‫ُك‬ ‫ْا‬ ‫ُق‬ ‫َّت‬ ‫ْا‬ ‫ُن‬ ‫َء‬ ‫َن‬ ‫َّل‬
    ‫ۡل ِع َب اِد ٱ ِذي‬ ‫َٰي‬ ‫ُق‬

    ‫ا‬ ‫ِح‬ ‫َغ‬ ‫م‬ ‫ُه‬ ‫ۡج‬‫َأ‬ ‫َن‬‫و‬ ‫َّٰص‬‫ٱل‬ ‫ى‬ ‫َّف‬ ‫ُي‬ ‫ا‬ ‫َّن‬ ۗ ‫ٌة‬ ‫َع‬ ‫ِس‬ ‫َٰو‬ ‫ِه‬‫َّل‬‫ٱل‬ ‫ُض‬ ‫َأ‬ ۗ ‫ٌة‬ ‫َن‬
    ‫ٍب‬ ‫َس‬ ‫ۡي‬
    ‫ِب ِر‬ ‫َر‬ ‫ُر‬ ‫ِب‬ ‫َو‬ ‫َم‬ ‫ِإ‬ ‫ۡر‬ ‫َو‬ ‫َحَس‬
    Say “O My servants who believe! Be mindful of your Lord. Those who do good in this world will
    have a good reward. And Allah’s earth is spacious. Only those who endure patiently will be
    given their reward without limit.”

    (Surah Az-Zumar, 39:10)


    Hadith Verse MALAYSIA.SCOTLAND

    Narrated Anas:
    The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said,
    “The real patience is at the first stroke of a
    calamity.”
    Sahih Al Bukhari 1302, Jami At-Tirmidhi 987 and Sunan an-Nasa’i 1869
    Moral Values MALAYSIA.SCOTLAND

    1) Allah s.w.t. commands us to seek help through patience and prayer


    ‫َّٰص‬ ‫َه‬‫َّل‬ ‫َل‬ ‫ْا‬ ‫ُن‬ ‫َت‬ ‫ْا‬ ‫ُن‬ ‫َّل‬
    ‫ُّيَه ا ٱ ِذيَن َء اَم و ٱۡس ِع ي و ِبٱلَّص ۡب ِر َو ٱلَّص ٰو ِة ۚ ِإَّن ٱل َم َع ٱل ِب ِريَن‬‫َأ‬‫َٰٓي‬
    “O believers! Seek comfort in patience and prayer. Allah is truly with those who are patient.”

    (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:153)

    2) Enjoining good and forbidding wrong require patience


    ‫ُأْل‬ ‫ْز‬ ‫ْن‬ ‫َك‬ ‫َٰذ‬ ‫َّن‬ ‫َك‬ ‫َأ‬ ‫َك‬ ‫ْن‬ ‫ْل‬ ‫َه‬ ‫ْن‬ ‫ْل‬ ‫ْأ‬ ‫َة‬ ‫اَل‬ ‫َأ‬
    ‫َيا ُبَن َّي ِق ِم الَّص‬
    ‫ِل ِم َع ِم ا ُم وِر‬ ‫َو ُم ْر ِبا َم ْع ُر وِف َو ا َع ِن ا ُم ِر َو اْص ِب ْر َع ٰىَل َم ا َص اَب ۖ ِإ‬
    “O my dear son! Establish prayer, encourage what is good and forbid what is evil, and endure patiently whatever befalls you.
    Surely this is a resolve to aspire to."
    (Surah Luqman, 31:17)

    3) Patience and forgiveness are a sign of strong determination


    ‫و‬ ‫ُأۡل‬‫ٱ‬ ‫ِم‬ ‫ۡز‬ ‫َع‬ ‫ۡن‬ ‫ِم‬ ‫َل‬ ‫َك‬‫ِل‬ ‫َٰذ‬ ‫َّن‬ ‫َف‬ ‫َغ‬ ‫َص‬ ‫ن‬ ‫َل‬
    ‫ِر‬ ‫ُم‬ ‫ِإ‬ ‫َر‬ ‫َو‬ ‫َر‬ ‫َب‬ ‫َم‬ ‫َو‬
    And whoever endures patiently and forgives—surely this is a resolve to aspire to.

    (Surah Ash-Shuraa, 42:43)
