Explain why you selected the specific set of Guidelines to evaluate the website.
The Fluid UI website is prototyping tool that is use for designing and creating web pages. Upon checking the website,
the web page interacts the user and shows them how does it work. It contains examples and interactions for the user to easily
learn the functions in using the website. Aside from the designs, it is accessible for every user whether they will use it for
school or work.
Emergency Application
If I will develop an emergency mobile application, I’ll choose the criteria of User Type and Interface Style. The
application that I’ll create includes the age, disability, accessibility, gender, etc. of the person. The chosen guidelines will help
the application to know the capabilities of the target user. Since it is made for emergency, the system can easily detect the
reason why the user accessed the app and can help them immediately. Aside from figuring out the user type, it can be simply
approached with the detailed information.
Learning Management
In developing an interface for learning management system for a University, I will use the guidelines of Visual Display
Layout. This website is for a University where students and professors can access it. This needs a lot of content and elements
that is relevant to the University. The most important details in developing a website for school should be interactive and
organized. The user can have an easy access and will be manageable for them in doing school works.
Video Editing Tool
Video editing tools has a lot of interface and tools or buttons in editing, so the applicable HCI criteria and guidelines
for this is the Application and Platform/System setup. These criteria can include in games, media, social network services, and
specially for designing and editing. The most important things for developing a video editing tool must be also interactive and
include more elements to be useful in editing. In including these guidelines, the video editing tool will be functional and creative
where it can be access in any devices.
