A Detailed Lesson Plan in English for Grade Four

I. Objectives
At the end of a 90-minute period, the Grade Four pupils will be able to:
a. Learn about what compound word is.
b. Match the compound root words successfully to create a compound word.

Values Integration: Being Courageous and brave amidst trial and difficulties in
life.

A. Preliminary Activities

1. Prayer
Good morning, Class! Good morning, Ma’am.
How are you today? WE are Fine Ma’am.
Everybody stands for a prayer.
May I request the leader to lead the
prayer? The pupils pray

Do you know the action song, “The
Little Teapot”? Yes, Ma’am.
Okay, Lets sing together.

Today I am going to read you a story
entitled “The Braille System”, but
before that we will know the meaning
of these words.

3. Reading
