This is a humble invitation for you to be a Keynote Speaker for the VJTI Guest Lecture
Series, an initiative by Technovanza, one of Asia’s largest student-organized Science, Technology
and Management events. The VJTI Guest Lecture Series aims to bridge the gap between industry,
academia, and students, to foster a healthy environment for their growth.

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, we are facing a global health crisis which is also affecting the
socio-economic circumstances around us. We would like to connect you with the student fraternity of
Mumbai through Live session. We believe you can surely offer insights and practical tips to the student
community.

How are we enriched with your presence?

You have been a stalwart in your field, and we’re sure you have a remarkable story to tell. Sir,
your exemplary work as <Personalize here> has won you great critical acclaim the world over. For your
research and arduous work, you have several accolades to your name including <awards>. Globally, you
are looked upon as a visionary.

Your life story is an inspiration to the youth of the country. It will be an honour to have you grace
our event. Sir, the student community in Mumbai looks up to you as someone whose principles they
would like to emulate and draw inspiration from your life story. You would be pleased to know that the
event is totally organized by the student fraternity without any institutional guidance.

Sir, we were visited by eminent scientist and former Indian President Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J.
Abdul Kalam in 2011. He was the one who gave us our motto of Taking Technology to Society. We
will be celebrating our 20th Edition this year and are also expecting the presence of prominent dignitaries
from the world over. We would be delighted to host you for the same.

UNESCO Patronage:

Sir, you would be pleased to know that we function under the patronage of UNESCO, the
highest form of support extended by them to any event that they feel helps serve their core purposes.
We are one of the only few student organizations in India to receive the patronage.

Make in India Patronage:

Our efforts for taking technology to the grassroots level have also helped us receive the
patronage from the Make in India, Digital India, and Skill India campaigns.

About us:

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai is one of the premier engineering
institutes in India. We have a proud legacy spanning over 130 years.

Over the span of these years, we have produced famous alumni such as Mr. JC Mahindra,
Founder, Mahindra and Mahindra, Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Former Chairman, Department of Atomic Energy,
and Dr. Sekhar Basu, Former Chairman, Department of Atomic Energy, among a host of others.

Technovanza is one of the biggest techno-managerial events in Asia and has been attracting a
great number of visitors from all walks of life. We boast of a footfall of over 45,000 each year.
Technovanza has grown immensely since its inception. We are extremely proud of the fact that it is
entirely organized by the students without institutional assistance.

Sophia:

Our list of guests are not limited to humans.

In the previous edition of Technovanza, we had hosted Sophia:One of the greatest humanoid Robot on
this planet. Not only did she attract great attention but the immense outreach that was rendered ,taking
the fest to a completely different level and inspired a great section of young and curious minds.

Exhibitions:

Technovanza was proud to organize many exhibitions this year. The most prominent of them
being ISRO(Indian Space Research Organization). Scientists and chief researchers visited our campus,
and had set up many real life models. These models which ranged from, Satellites to rockets, gave a very
great insight into the process of astronomy and space explorations. The scientists were also interacting
with the crowd and solving their queries.

We also hosted the BARC(Bhabha Atomic Research Centre) exhibition, where they demonstrated their
epitome of research excellence in fields like Reactor Model, ASDF Model and many more. LIGO and IMD
exhibition was also part of few of the exhibitions we hosted last year. We had a footfall of 100,000 visitors
in a span of 3 days of Technovanza.

Lecture Series:

Expertise is an epitome of intellectual brilliance and a passion to reach the zenith. The renowned
line-up of Guest Lectures over the years has always been a prime platform where the flame of expertise
has been effectively transferred to many more torches. The pioneers of diverse fields have graced
Technovanza with their presence, illuminating more and more minds to new areas of interest. Guest
Lectures give a taste of a world of knowledge and learning which is much beyond what we have already
experienced.
