BACKGROUND

The classrooms at Morgan high school are too dusty due to damaged tiles. The school wishes to retile
the classrooms with high traffic tiles.

You are therefore required to determine the number of tiles required to tile a classroom of

your choice.

THE CALA

You are to carry out the activities in two parts. i.e Part A and Part B.

PART A

⮚ From the classrooms at the school, select a classroom of your choice.


⮚ List the tools you would require to take measurements on the chosen section
⮚ Take measurements of the dimensions of the classroom you have chosen
⮚ Write down the results you obtained.

PART B

⮚ Take measurements of the tiles to be used and write them down


⮚ Calculate the number of tiles required to cover the classroom you chose.
