A. GENERAL
The design of the 2 main office buildings and 4 satellite will be carefully considered and
developed to create and maintain a common site aesthetic with particular emphasis on
using the same external finishes, materials, colors, textures, components and features
across the facilities.
All buildings will meet IECC standards and any applicable local codes & standards for energy
efficient performance. This will include insulated construction, solar reflective external
finishes, solar shading etc. as appropriate and will accommodate the local Saudi Arabian
environmental and climatic constraints and conditions. Levels of thermal insulation will be
determined and agreed to local regulatory approvals.
Abqaiq Gosp -2, Shedgum Gosp -6, Uthmaniyah Gosp – 11 and 12 Industrial support
temporary Facilities will be organized identical to other Aramco neighborhoods facilities
with walking trails, Government Security at Main Gate covering support building, open car
parking, open bus drop shelter other areas as stipulated in the scope of work
Scope of work includes the process of setting out detailed Site Development Design/
engineering works in accordance with Aramco Concept Plans, Design Basic Report, Guideline
and Specifications.
I. MAIN OFFICE:
FAEC will incorporate in the 2 number of main office building design the following approved
recommendations of the Building Risk Assessment (BRA).
FAEC will also coordinate with FAEC responsible for updating the BRA through ARAMCO to
ensure that building design incorporates the recommendation of the final BRA report.
FAEC will use the building number as assigned for each building by the ARAMCO representative
during the detail design. The above building numbers are temporary and will be verified during
detail design.
FAEC will design all parking areas and associated structures as required for each building. All car
parking spaces in ISF area will be shaded as per ARAMCO standard design.
IV. Signage
Each building will be provided with required exterior and interior signage in accordance with
ARAMCO External & Internal Signage manual.
This facility will be provided with the following security support facilities
& structure:
b. SATELLITE OFFICE
This building is a single story and will be designed with framed structure with I
beam channel floor and roof. External wall will be sandwich insulated panel with
exposed finish, insulated internally and lined with paint finished gypsum board.
Internal partitions will be wooden partition and gypsum board, coated with a
painted finish. Roof assemblies will in accordance with ARAMCO requirement.
The Satellite Office Building will be equipped with the items/ equipment as per
the furniture schedule, refer to PP-837303.001.
The proposal of this Scope is to provide Design Engineering Services, Technical and Coordination
Support for, the design and engineering phase of the Temp Facility / Camp Support Facilities. The
deliverables will be developed and designed in accordance with all applicable SAUDI ARAMCO and local
authorities Standards, as applicable.
The scope of this design package will include, but will not be limited to, all deliverables of a Project
Proposal under this proposal and included deliverable lists. It also includes conducting all related studies
such as, Technical services, Engineering services, Technical and Coordination Support, Quality Assurance
and Control up to IFC stage.
Scope of work includes the process of setting out a Site Development Design works in accordance with
Concept plans and specifications.
The purpose of this scope is to develop concept and the preliminary and detailed design. This covers
works and activities that influence, effect, interface and contribute to the functioning and servicing of
the camp.
The scope includes providing the Engineering, Technical and Coordination Support Services for early
Design works for the temporary camp facilities, which include but not limited to:
The scope of work includes the requirements for preparation of detailed engineering design for
ARAMCO- Temp Facility / Camp Support Facilities This also includes associated site improvement,
grading, leveling and underground utilities and the process of setting out detailed Site Development
Design/ engineering works in accordance with ARAMCO requirements, Scope of works, Guideline
and Specifications.
Amenities and other utility areas/rooms not shown or allocated for in the attached preliminary
designs but are necessary for the building system to function properly as intended, will be added,
designed and incorporated. Improvement of design by us, provided these improvements and all
design /drawings will be agreed and approved by ARAMCO.
The purpose of this scope is to develop detailed design and engineering. This covers works and
activities that influence, effect, interface and contribute to the functioning and servicing of the
ARAMCO – Temp Facility / Camp Support Facilities as stipulated in the scope of work..
WorlyParsons will coordinate and manage interfaces with the concerned authorities. This includes
issuing related interface plans and drawings, interface programs and attend meetings with client to
manage and review these interfaces in order to implement on the design.
Site Storm drainage system including road gutters, channels and complete lift station if
required.
Design new sidewalks covered by concrete pavement.
Design of foundations for light poles, parking sheds, package transformers, concrete
pads for A/C Machines.
Engineering services for the construction of play field for volleyball/basketball and tennis
including all equipment's. (for finishes see attached technical specification)
Engineering services for the construction of a football field with artificial grass including all
layers and drain system and paint marking and goal posts.
Required signboards for traffic and building.
Car parking shades with necessary foundations with respect to the preliminary site layout
drawing..
Wire fence as shown in the preliminary drawings.
Potable and fire water distribution system.
Sanitary sewer distribution system.
Irrigation distribution system.
Electrical power distribution system.
Area/street lighting system.
Telecommunication Layout distribution system.
Landscaping with required irrigation system as per the concept layouts.
C. PROJECT SCHEDULE
The period will be limited to 180 days for the engineering design services; this schedule will be
effective from the date of Kicks of meeting with the client and receiving the project data such as
geotechnical reports, topographic survey, interface data etc.
