1 Introduction

DuctZone is the tool Airzone has placed at the disposal of designers and installers to
facilitate the design and calculation of their zoning systems.
Airzone systems are comprised of three kinds of elements: thermostats in each room
requiring a certain temperature, supply units (grilles or motorized dampers, solenoid
valves and individual units) and a system panel which analyses information, sets the
production units' working point and regulates the supply units.
DuctZone selects the most appropriate zoning system, calculates the ductwork, sizes
supply units, provides connection schemes and generates a full quote for the
installation through a simple and intuitive data inputting system.

The activation process must be done just once per machine on which the
application is run.

1.5 Downloading updates

You can detect and download any new updates that are posted from the software
itself. You will find the options for Updates in the About... page:
Current version: Displays the software version which is being run.
Version available: Displays the latest version posted and available
for downloading.
 Check for updates automatically: If you tick this box, the software will
check if there is a version subsequent to the one which is being run. If this is
the case, the software will allow you to download and install it automatically.
The Download update button allows you to download any of the software's
possible existing updates individually.
An active Internet connection at the moment the software is started up will be
necessary to check and download any updates that can be performed.

Installing updates:
Once an update has been downloaded, the software will shut down and launch its
installation by overwriting the current version. Any projects that may have been
created with previous versions will not be deleted during this process and
compatibility with said projects will be maintained.
